Pristine Aquariums is owner-operated by Joel Collier. Being clear up front about scope means no surprises — and the right plan for your tank from the first visit.
How we work
Pristine Aquariums is a personal, one-person operation — you work directly with Joel, an expert aquarist, on every visit. Pricing is flexible because every tank is different; the scope of a job is tailored to what your aquarium actually needs, and confirmed before work begins. Service is available for freshwater and saltwater aquariums of all kinds, in homes and businesses.
What's included
- Full setup, calibration, and startup of new aquarium systems
- Soft and hard plumbing for aquarium sumps and external equipment
- Routine maintenance, water testing, and equipment servicing
- Diagnosis, refurbishment, and rescue of neglected or struggling tanks
Outside our scope
Installation is limited to what one person can safely handle and lift. To keep your home and your system safe, Pristine Aquariums does not provide:
- Home renovation or construction
- Woodworking or cabinetry
- Electrical work
- Home plumbing to support large or advanced aquarium systems
For larger or advanced builds that need any of the above, Joel is glad to coordinate with your contractor or electrician and handle everything on the aquarium side once the space is ready.
